The Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Groundwater Resource and Environment held 2019 academic conference on Apr.13, 2019 in the 1stlecture theatre. Prof. Xu Tianfu, Dean of CNEE, director of Key Laboratory, Deputy Dean Prof. Hua Xiuyi and Prof. Dong jun, and nearly 200 faculties, graduate students and undergraduates attended the conference.
The report of the conference consists of four themes: sustainable development of groundwater resources, control and remediation of groundwater and soil pollution, formation and transportation of environmental pollution, development of resources and energy. The conference was chaired by three deputy directors of the key laboratory.
At the conference, Prof. Xu firstly encouraged faculties and students to participate in academic activities, as well as faculties from all research directions to communicate and cooperate actively. Some professors from different department of the college gave their wonderful presentation subsequently. Finally, the speakers discussed with other teachers and students according to their own topics.
This conference provided a platform for faculties and students to communicate with their lasted research outcomes, as well as enhanced the innovation and cooperation between different research directions to further promote the development of relevant disciplines.
